“ I was more impressed with this buffet than I had expected based on the other reviews. The dishes were replaced frequently in the time I was there, enough that by the time I was ready for a new plate, there were new items coming out. The sushi had a good variety, and it was better than any other buffet I have tried. The shrimp cocktail tasted fresh and was very clean. Overall, the food was very satisfactory, just not incredible. The ambiance is nothing special, kinda plain and boring. But I would definitely visit again ”
“ I try not to shy away from low rated Chinese buffets because I don't have a ton of expectations as long as the flavors are there and the food is fresh. That being said, Seaport is a pretty decent choice with plenty of options. There are a good variety of seafood (clams, mussels, crab legs, crawfish, shrimp) and all the food my family of 6 had tasted good. My four boys (ages ranging from 1-11) had about 3 plates each. The fried rice, chicken wings, lo mein and green mussels were tasty enough that my kids kept asking for more. They also had chicken nuggets, tiny personal pizzas and French fries that were part of their dishes. My 3 year old also had a salad I fixed for him from the salad bar and the sushi bar had a small variety but tasted good when we went in. Overall, a good place for us to dine on a Thursday night and my kids left with full bellies. My 6 year old said he hadn't had Chinese buffet food in a long time and it made him happy, which made me happy. Our servers were great, kind and refilled our drinks promptly. Would definitely come back! ”
“ If you love seafood, this is the place! Shellfish galore. They have big clams, small clams, black mussels, green lipped mussels, crawfish, crab, shrimp, etc. Good food, I would go back! ”
“ Okay so...this is a four-star review simply because it's a Chinese buffet...so standards have to be lowered given that when you go here you KNOW what you're getting yourself into. Do not come expecting some gourmet experience. If you want to get a Chinese food fix, binge style, and also nosh on some other non-Chinese goodies, this is your spot. It's packed. I came on a Sunday night and there were barely any free tables. It cost me $50 for two people, including a beverage. Come. Eat your heart out. And get your dollar's worth of face stuffage. Like any buffet, there are some dishes better than others. My favorites were the ribs. I order them from my go-to takeout spot and these were way better. I also really liked the pork dumplings. Shout out to having chicken nuggets and fried plantains. They also have the usuals: chicken and broccoli, lo mein, walnut shrimp, general tso's, fried rice, etc. The buffet is complete with soups, sushi, a salad bar, desserts, and soft serve ice cream. Again, keep in mind this review is basing this on being a Chinese buffet...not a regular restaurant, not a takeout joint...it's a BUFFET. In the real, non-buffet world, no, this isn't four-star food, but within the context of what it is, it's pretty solid. ”
